About Us
Marketing Pros was founded by Doug and Liv.
Liv had just finished her internship as an Industrial Psychology grad, and Doug was in the market for some decent copywriters to hire at his UK content marketing agency, Kalium.
Doug struggled to find good writers in the UK, but Liv had a few South African connections to get some talent on the roster.
Liv unknowingly had tapped into a demand that would change the face of employment for the global market.
With Doug’s background in finance and content marketing, and some capital to get things off the ground - he convinced Liv that starting a new business was a brilliant idea.
They launched Marketing Pros with a mission...
To provide South Africa’s brightest marketing talent with opportunities in the global market while giving their clients access to superior talent.

In 2024, our team has grown to a group of 7 passionate and skilled women (and the guys) who put their hearts and souls into their work every day.
Our team has successfully placed talent in the US, UK, and Australian markets across industries like fashion startups, agencies, and online training.

Liv will be your point of contact after you receive your job offer. She will handle all contract negotiations on your behalf as well as make sure you get your annual leave days. (She takes those very seriously!)

Lexi graduated from Red & Yellow in 2023 and hit the ground running at Marketing Pros. Lexi handles screening calls for many of our roles, so if you pass her vibe check, you’ll definitely get a second interview!
